As a way of introduction, John is an HO model railroader, having started with Lionel trains he purchased with earnings from his paper route when he was 12. After college he went HO and for many years worked with a group of several friends (and our son) building an empire in his brother's basement. A circus train was started with Mardi's sister many years ago and may now actually get done. Both Mardi & John are active at the Ohio Historical Society and the Ohio Railway Museum as volunteers recreating the past as first person interpreters.

     We both have masters degrees in Journalism and have owned our own business for 35 years. The business is Quality Design Xpress and does design work including electronics, websites, real estate mailings, annual reports, presentations, newspapers, and magazines. These days almost all the work is done over the Internet and we will be using our servers and equipment to bring LCW into the digital age of production and quality.

     Some things will be changing. Deadlines will be closer to mailings. It takes us about 15 days after deadline to finish the magazine and send it to the printer. Layout and typography will be improved so that Little Circus Wagon is both attractive and easy to read. Eight pages of full color will be used in each issue to improve communications and improve your ability to create accurate models including paint schemes.
