STEP BACK IN TIME IN 2009 July 19 - 23, 2009

    Ladies and Gentlemen, Children of All Ages” “Welcome to the all new addition of the Pat Kelly and The Great Wallace Rings combined 2009 Circus Model Builders International Convention.” As the Ringmaster blows his whistle for the last time and the big show comes to a close for 2008, now is the time to mark your calendar for July 19 through July 23, 2009 and “Come to Peru, Indiana and Step Back in Time in 2009”. As many of you all ready know, Peru, Indiana was home to some of the largest traveling Circus in the Country. Today some of the old American Circus Corporation’s winter quarters buildings still stand. Many of you know this area as the “Circus Hall of Fame”. Also on this property is the “Circus Model Builders Museum”. So “Come Back in Time in 2009”. The Pat Kelly and Great Wallace Rings are now in winter quarters and preparations are well underway for the Circus Model Builders International Convention for 2009. Displays will be setup on Sunday, July 19, 2009 in the Peru Jr High School with two Gymnasiums, a center stage and plenty of seminars and will run through Wednesday July 23, 2009. Participants are encouraged to come in early and attend the 50th anniversary edition of the Circus City Festival Peru Amateur Circus and the Circus City Festival Parade on Saturday July 18, 2009. If you have never seen the Amateur Circus, you are in for a treat.
