3.6 VOTING RIGHTS OF MEMBERS
Only Regular, Adult Family and Student Members shall have the right to vote in elections or on motions of business conducted by the Organization as a whole or in its recognized and approved sub-constructs at the regional or local levels.
3.7 SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES PERTAINING TO FAMILY/AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP
Members in this Category at both the local and regional levels shall have the right to establish an associated parallel organization in support of the activities of a local (Ring) or regional (Lot) organization. In forming this related body, members may establish their own Board of Directors, By-laws and fee structure in support of the Lot or Ring with which they are associated. Disbursements of funds raised are at the sole discretion of this separate entity. It may also sponsor membership in the parent Organization, C.M.B., Inc.
3.8 MEMBERSHIP FEES AND DUES
The Board of Directors may assess such fees and annual dues as it deems appropriate and necessary for the conduct of the business of the Organization. They may from time to time re-assess and apply a new fee structure as is deemed necessary.
3.8.1 Annual dues will include a subscription to the in-house publication, the Little Circus Wagon, for the following categories of membership only:
a: Regular or Family Membership (one copy only)
b: Student Membership
c: Junior Membership - Division I
3.8.2 As Junior Members are often in the family of a Regular Member, it is appropriate to consider the number of copies of a publication to which a family subscribes. With this in mind, the Organization has defined a two-division split of the Junior Membership:
Division I Those who pay an annual dues which includes a subscription to the L.C.W.
Division II Those who pay a lesser dues rate and do not receive the L.C.W.
The decision as to which division a Junior Member may enter is left with that member and his/her family.
3.9 REFUSING OR REVOKING A MEMBERSHIP
The Board of Directors has the right to refuse an application for membership or revoke a current membership if it has a reason to believe that admittance to, or continuance of, that membership will have a detrimental effect on the Organization, detract from its Purpose or cause harm to the other members. The right to refuse or revoke a membership is contingent upon the requirement not to contravene the civil rights of the individual nor is in contravention of the Act under which this Corporation was articled.
